Model who looks like Barbie doll published in 'V' magazine
A Ukranian model by the name of Valeria Lukyonova, 21, is getting worldwide attention on Tuesday after photos of her looking just like Mattel's infamous Barbie doll were published in V magazine on Nov. 13, 2012.
Dressed in clothes like a Barbie doll Lukyonova posed for the magazine's "Girl Power" issue looking almost like an illusion with her cosmetically enhanced figure giving her a tiny waist and lots of time in a makeup chair to achieve the glassy wide-eyed look of Barbie and to achieve flawless skin just like a Barbie doll has.
It was just last April, 2012, when another model from the Ukraine by the name of Anastasiya Shpagina, 19, made headlines around the world when she portrayed a flower fairy just like those in Japanese anime cartoons.

While some people are skeptical of these two women's porcelain looks wondering if its not just an Internet Photoshop creation, V magazine wrote Lukyonova's images were shot by lauded fashion photographer Sebastian Faena whose work is often premiered on models.com.

"Many people say bad things about people who want to perfect themselves," Lukyonova said in an interview for V magazine. "Its hard work, but they dismiss it as something done by surgeons or computer artists. This is how they justify not wanting to strive for self-improvement. It's how they explain their continued inaction. It's just an excuse. There are plenty of video clips on the internet showing what I really look like. Some people even spread rumours about me and retouch my pictures to hurt me, but i don't take them seriously. I'm even flattered! It's what success is like. I'm happy I seem unreal to them, it means I'm doing a good job."
