Their vampire clans face off in violent clash in the final installment of The Twilight Saga.
But on the black carpet on Thursday night, Ashley Greene and Dakota Fanning seemed to have been cut from the same cloth.
The actresses stepped out in midnight blue gowns as they joined co-stars Kellan Lutz, Elizabeth Reaser and Peter Facinelli for the New York premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.

While stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner continue their promotional tour in Europe, the ensemble cast was together for yet another screening of the fantastical vampire story.

Ashley dazzled in a midnight blue Donna Karan dress with a cleavage-baring bustier top.
Dakota was dressed in a speghetti strap Valentino gown, her trademark blonde tresses still dyed a rich mahogony that echoed Ashley's style.

Their heavy eye make-up punctuated their looks, while Elizabeth Reaser turned heads in a plunging black peplum dress.
Mackenzie Foy, cast as Renesmee, the daughter of Kristen and Robert's vampire characters, was youthful and elegant in a black knee-length dress with a sequined collar, paired with stockings and black flats.
Peter Facinelli and Kellan Lutz looked dapper as usual in their respective grey and black suits.

Actresses Casey LaBow and Maggie Grace also attended the event, while Nicky Hilton, Rachel Roy, La La Anthony and Howard Stern, with his wife, Beth, lent their support at the star-studded screening.
Breaking Dawn Part 2 is the final film in the hugely successful vampire series and it will be the last time fans will see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart playing Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.
The film is expected to be a massive box office hit, despite receiving a lukewarm response from a number of film critics.
